Get Active About The Environment
Active Colour have been honoured to receive environmental accreditation by the FSC making them one of the first suppliers of local paper print in Cornwall to adhere to these world-wide environmental criteria.
The FSC accreditation means that the printers can trace back the chain of custody for the paper they are supplying through paper merchants, mills and eventually the forest where the wood is grown to ensure that it is from a sustainable source and produced in the most environmentally friendly process, recycling wherever possible.

Although only 9% of the world's forests fall under the FSC certification schemes, over 90 million hectares in more than 70 countries have been certified according to FSC standards while several thousand products are produced using FSC-certified wood and carrying the FSC trademark.
The distinctive tree tick logo is one of the most recognised brands world-wide and the Forest Stewardship Council gain support from large charities such as WWF and Greenpeace.

Fifteen Manager Jo Davey says:
"As a business we are very ethically and environmentally minded but paper print is essential to promote and run a restaurant. It is so pleasing to us to be able to demonstrate to our customers with the FSC logo that you can have quality finishes and still be environmentally minded. We are proud to be able to work with people who support the FSC chain of custody."

Active Colour is committed to recycling wherever possible & uses several local & national environmental companies to remove our waste paper, plates & chemicals.
